Vietubes has a number of hollow spindle CNC’s that can thread pipes up to 13 3/8” OD in addition to manual machines for simple jobs. We have a complete range of equipment for threading premium connections including flush joints, and equipment to handle various processes such as swaging, stress-relieving, electroplating, parkerizing (phosphating), peening and sawing.
Our services include:
- General machining services.
- Premium threading of all grades of tubing and casing including integral joints.
- Manufacturer of couplings, subs, crossovers and blast joints.
- Manufacturer of oil-tools requiring milling and turning.
- Machining of large component up to 10 tonnes.
- Repair of casing, tubing, premium joints and drill pipe.
- Hard-facing of tools.
- Inspection services of tubing, casing and of drill pipe and collars to RP7G, DS1 and NS2.
- Surface treatment of machined surfaces by Parkerizing and electro-plating, shot peening, and abrasive processes such as grinding and honing.
- Tubular maintenance, cleaning and coating.
- Hard-banding of drill-pipes.
- Make-up of connections using computer controlled torque-turn machines.
- Hydro-testing.
Premium Threading Licences
Vietubes is licenced to thread almost all major premium threads such as VAM, NSPJ, Tenaris, JFE, Hunting, and WFT (Weatherford) threads. New connections are being constantly added and customers can check with us for the current status.
Inspection & Testing Equipment
We maintain a comprehensive range of test and inspection equipment which is controlled by a calibration program that conforms to API and ISO standards. All instruments are calibrated with traceability to national standards. We have API master and working thread gages, and even maintain some premium gages on long term loan.
